I was born in Indiana, but spent a good bit of my childhood growing up in South Carolina. I received academic scholarships to attend the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC, where I received a Bachelor’s of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees.
I completed my internship at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Internal Medicine, and Dermatology Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, where I was chief resident my final year. I elected to pursue two additional years of Fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Laser Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, and Cosmetic Surgery in Columbus, OH. I am board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery by the American Board of Dermatology.
I truly enjoy the day-to-day practice of dermatology, as it allows me to interact with my patients and the public on a very personal level. My main interests are general dermatology, skin cancer treatment and reconstruction (Mohs Micrographic Surgery), cosmetic surgery, laser surgery, and facial aesthetics and rejuvenation.
I have been published in national medical journals including The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery, The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, The Journal of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The Archives of Dermatology, Cutis, Skin & Aging, and more. I have lectured at national meetings including The American Academy of Dermatology and The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
I look forward to being able to meet you and provide you with the best dermatologic care that I can.
