Liquid Co2 is made into a snowy powder and wrapped in gauze and then dipped into acetone to create a slush. The slush is then lightly dabbed over the treated areas. Cryotherapy has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties making it ideal for acne prone skin. Cryotherapy can be done as often as once every two weeks. This procedure may be covered by some insurance companies.
